꾸준히 앞으로 나아가라

 

꾸준히 앞으로 나아가라

 

나는 그대의 야망이 성화된 야망이 되어

하나님의 천사들이 그대의 마음에 거룩한 열성을 불러일으키고

그대를 꾸준하게 그리고 견실하게 전진하도록 이끌고,

그대를 밝고 환하게 비추는 빛으로 만들 수 있게 되기를 원한다.

 

그대가 몸과 혼과 영, 즉 전 존재를 거룩한 일의 성취를 위해 성별할 때에

그대의 지각 가능의 힘과 건전성이 증가할 것이다.

그리스도의 은혜 안에서 그리고 그것을 통하여

그대 앞에 제시된 높은 표준을 달성하기 위하여 온갖 노력을 기울이라.

하나님께서 그분의 영역에서 완전하신 것처럼 그대도 그대의 영역에서 완전할 수 있다.

“그러므로 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지의 온전하심과 같이 너희도 온전하라”(마 5: 48)고

그리스도께서 선언하지 않으셨던가?

 

모든 능력을 계발하라—

하나님께서는 우리가 항상 거룩하고, 행복하고, 쓸모 있는 인물로 자라나기를 바라신다.

모든 사람은 그들이 가진 재능들을 신성한 유산으로 인정하고,

하나님의 선물로 알고, 올바르게 활용하도록 가르침을 받아야 한다.

그분께서는 젊은이들이 그들에게 속한 모든 능력을 계발하고 모든 재능을 실제적으로 활용하기를 바라신다. 그분께서는 그들이 이 세상에서 유용하고 귀중한 모든 것을 향유하고, 선하게 될 뿐 아니라

선을 행하며, 내세를 위하여 하늘에 보물을 쌓아 두기를 원하신다.

 

 

Move Forward Steadily

 

 

I want your ambition to be a sanctified ambition so that angels of God can inspire your heart with holy zeal, leading you to move forward steadily and solidly and making you a bright and shining light. Your perceptive faculties will increase in power and soundness if your whole being-body, soul, and spirit-is consecrated to the accomplishment of a holy work. Make every effort, in and through the grace of Christ, to attain to the high standard set before you. You can be perfect in your sphere as God is perfect in His sphere. Has not Christ declared, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect" (Matthew 5:48)?-Lt 123, 1904.

Cultivate Every Power.-He desires that we shall constantly be growing in holiness, in happiness, in usefulness. All have capabilities which they must be taught to regard as sacred endowments, to appreciate as the Lord's gifts, and rightly to employ. He desires the youth to cultivate every power of their being and to bring every faculty into active exercise. He desires them to enjoy all that is useful and precious in this life, to be good and to do good, laying up a heavenly treasure for the future life.-The Ministry of Healing, 398 (1905).
