양식을 백배로 증가시킬 수 있는 하나님 손길

 

적은 것을 가지고 모든 사람을 충족하게 하는 것은 하나님의 은혜이다.

하나님의 손길은 양식을 백배로 증가시키실 수 있다.

하나님께서는 당신의 재원으로 광야에서도 식탁을 베푸실 수 있으시다.

하나님께서는 손을 대심으로 부족한 양식을 증가시켜 모든 사람을 충족시킬 수 있으시다.

선지자의 생도의 손 안에 있는 떡덩이와 채소를 증가시킨 것은 하나님의 능력이었다...

 

이 교훈은 각 시대의 하나님의 자녀들을 위한 것이다.

주께서 우리에게 할 일을 주실 때에

아무도 그 명령의 타당성이나 순종할 때 이르러 올 노력의 결과를 묻지 말 것이다.

저희 손에 있는 양식이 필요를 채워 주기에는 부족할지 모르나

주님의 수중에서는 그것이 충족하고도 남는다는 사실이 밝혀질 것이다.

종이 “무리 앞에 베풀었더니 여호와의 말씀과 같이 다 먹고 남았”다.

 

당신의 아들을 선물로 주고 사신 사람들에 대한 하나님의 관계를 충분히 깨닫는다면

이 땅에서 그분의 사업을 발전시키려는 커다란 믿음이 생길 것이다.

이것이 오늘날의 교회가 가장 필요로 하는 것이다.

아무도 눈에 보이는 재원의 부족을 한탄하는 일로 시간을 낭비하지 말라.

외적 형편은 유망하지 않을지 모르나 힘과 하나님께 대한 신뢰심은 재원을 계발시킬 것이다.

하나님께서는 감사하는 마음과 당신의 축복을 비는 기도로

당신께 가져온 선물을 옛날 선지자의 생도와 피곤한 군중을 먹이시기 위해 음식물을 증가시키신 것처럼

증가시키실 것이다.

 

 

God's Hand Can Multiply Food a Hundredfold

 

It is the grace of God on the small portion that makes it all-sufficient. God's hand can multiply it a hundredfold…

The lesson is for God's children in every age. When the Lord gives a work to be done, let not men stop to inquire into the reasonableness of the command or the probable result of their efforts to obey. The supply in their hands may seem to fall short of the need to be filled; but in the hands of the Lord it will prove more than sufficient. The servitor "set it before them, and they did eat, and left thereof, according to the word of the Lord."

A fuller sense of God's relationship to those whom He has purchased with the gift of His Son, a greater faith in the onward progress of His cause in the earth--this is the great need of the church today. Let none waste time in deploring the scantiness of their visible resources. The outward appearance may be unpromising, but energy and trust in God will develop resources. The gift brought to Him with thanksgiving and with prayer for His blessing, He will multiply as He multiplied the food given to the sons of the prophets and to the weary multitude. – Prophets and Kings, 241-3.
