바른 생애의 내적 만족감

하나님 나라의 원칙인 무아의 정신은 사단이 미워하는 원칙이다.

그는 그런 원칙의 존재 자체를 부정한다. 

대쟁투가 시작된 이래,

사단은 하나님의 행위의 원칙들이 이기적이라는 것을 증명하려고 노력해 왔을 뿐 아니라,

그분을 섬기는 모든 사람도 그와 동일한 태도로 다루고 있다.

사단의 이러한 주장을 반박하는 것이 그리스도의 일이요 그분의 이름을 지닌 모든 사람의 일이다. 

그리스도께서 사람의 형상으로 세상에 오신 것은,

그분의 생애를 통해 친히 이 무아의 정신의 실례를 보이시기 위해서였다. 

그러므로 이 원칙을 받아들이는 사람은 누구나

실생활에서 그것을 증명해 보이는 일에 그리스도와 함께 동역자가 되어야 한다. 

그것이 옳기 때문에 옳은 것을 선택하는 것

그리고 어떠한 희생이나 고난을 치르더라도 진리를 위해 굳게 서는 것,

바로 그것이

“여호와의 종들의 기업이요 이는 그들이 내게서 얻은 의니라

여호와의 말이니라”(사 54: 17).

The Inner Satisfaction of Being Right

Unselfishness, the principle of God’s kingdom, is the principle that Satan hates; its very existence he denies. 

From the beginning of the great controversy he has endeavored to prove God’s principles of action to be selfish, and he deals in the same way with all who serve God. 

To disprove Satan’s claim is the work of Christ and of all who bear His name.

It was to give in His own life an illustration of unselfishness that Jesus came in the form of humanity. 

And all who accept this principle are to be workers together with Him in demonstrating it in practical life. 

To choose the right because it is right; to stand for truth at the cost of suffering and sacrifice—“this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Me, saith the Lord” (Isaiah 54:17).
