안전은 올바르게 생각하는 것에 기초되어 있음

우리는 언제나 순결한 사고의 고상하게 하는 능력을 의식할 필요가 있다. 

어떠한 사람에게나 유일의 안전은 올바르게 생각하는 것이다.

“그 마음의 생각이 어떠하면 그 위인도 그러”(잠 23: 7)하기 때문이다. 

자제의 힘은 사용할수록 강해진다.

처음에는 어려워 보이는 것도 끊임없이 반복함으로 쉬워지고, 마침내 올바른 사상과 행동이 습관화된다. 

원하기만 하면 우리는 천박하고 열등한 모든 것을 버리고 높은 표준에 오를 수 있다.

그리하여 사람에게 존경을 받고, 하나님께 사랑을 받을 수 있게 된다.

Security Founded on Right Thinking

We need a constant sense of the ennobling power of pure thoughts. 

The only security for any soul is right thinking. As a man “thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). 

The power of self-restraint strengthens by exercise. That which at first seems difficult, by constant repetition grows easy, until right thoughts and actions become habitual. 

If we will we may turn away from all that is cheap and inferior and rise to a high standard; we may be respected by men and beloved of God.
