누구든지 원하는 사람은 하나님의 능력을 소유하고 그분과 화평할 수 있다

예수님께서는 모든 사람들의 환경을 아신다.

죄인의 죄가 크면 클수록 그에게는 구주가 더욱 필요하다.

거룩한 사랑과 긍휼로 이루어진 그분의 마음은

무엇보다도 가장 속절없이 원수의 올무에 사로잡혀있는 사람에게로 끌려간다.

그분께서는 당신의 피로써 인류의 해방문서에 조인하셨다.

예수님께서는 그처럼 귀한 값을 지불하고 사신 사람들이 원수의 유혹의 놀림거리가 되기를 원치 않으신다.

그분께서는 우리가 정복당하여 멸망받기를 원치 않으신다.

사자굴에서 사자들의 입에 자갈을 물리시고,

불꽃 가운데서 당신의 충성된 증인들과 함께 거니셨던 그분께서는

지금도 마찬가지로 우리의 본성 가운데 있는 모든 악을 정복하기 위한 준비를 갖추고 계신다.

오늘날 그분께서는 은혜의 제단 앞에 서서 당신의 도움을 원하는 사람들의 기도를 하나님 앞에 올리고 계신다. 그분께서는 울며 통곡하는 사람을 결코 외면하지 않으신다.

그분께서는 사유와 회복을 위하여 당신께 나오는 모든 사람들에게 용서의 은혜를 값없이 주실 것이다.

그분께서는 누구에게나 당신이 나타나실 것을 모두 말씀해 주지 않으신다.

그러나 떨고 있는 모든 영혼에게 용기를 가지라고 명령하신다.

누구든지 원하는 사람은 하나님의 능력을 소유하고 그분과 화평할 수 있다.

그리하면 그분께서 화평하게 해 주실 것이다.

Whosoever Will, May Take Hold of God’s Strength

Jesus knows the circumstances of every soul. The greater the sinner’s guilt, the more he needs the Saviour.

His heart of divine love and sympathy is drawn out most of all for the one who is the most hopelessly entangled in the snares of the enemy. With His own blood He has signed the emancipation papers of the race. 

Jesus does not desire those who have been purchased at such a cost to become the sport of the enemy’s temptations. He does not desire us to be overcome and perish.

He who curbed the lions in their den, and walked with His faithful witnesses amid the fiery flames, is just as ready to work in our behalf to subdue every evil in our nature.

Today He is standing at the altar of mercy, presenting before God the prayers of those who desire His help. He turns no weeping, contrite one away. Freely will He pardon all who come to Him for forgiveness and restoration.

He does not tell to any all that He might reveal, but He bids every trembling soul take courage. Whosoever will, may take hold of God’s strength, and make peace with Him, and He will make peace.
