가족예배

가정마다 기도의 집이 되어야 할 때는 바로 지금이다. 

불신과 의심이 판을 치고 불의가 넘쳐 나며 부패가 영혼의 흐름 속에 흐르고 있으며

하나님께 대한 반역이 생활에서 터져 나온다...

그럼에도 불구하고, 이 두려운 위기의 시간에 그리스도인이라고 자처하는 이들은

가족 예배를 전혀 드리지 아니한다. 

그들은 가정에서 하나님을 영화롭게 아니하고

그 자녀들에게 하나님을 사랑하고 경외하도록 가르치지 아니한다...

기도가 요긴하지 않다는 생각은 영혼을 멸망시키는 사탄의 가장 성공적인 계책이다. 
기도는 지혜의 샘이요, 힘과 평화와 행복의 원천이신 하나님과의 교통이다...

부모들은 간절하고도 열렬한 기도로 그 자녀들의 주위에 울타리를 쳐야한다.

그들은 하나님께서 저희와 함께 하시고,

거룩한 천사들이 저희와 그 자녀들을 사단의 잔인한 권세에서 지키실 것을 믿으면서 기도해야 한다.

각 가정에서는 조석 예배를 일정한 시간에 드려야 한다. 

하루의 생활을 시작하기 전에, 부모들이 그 자녀들을 모으고 밤 동안의 하나님의 보호하심을 감사하며

낮에도 도와 주시고 인도하시며 지켜 주시기를 간구하는 것은 그 얼마나 합당한 일인가? 

또한 저녁이 되어서 부모와 자녀들이 함께 모여서

다시 한 번 그 날 하루의 축복들을 인하여 하나님께 감사를 드리는 일은 얼마나 바람직한 일인가?

Family Worship

If ever there was a time when every house should be a house of prayer, it is now. Infidelity and skepticism prevail. Iniquity abounds. Corruption flows in the vital currents of the soul, and rebellion against God breaks out in the life...

And yet, in this time of fearful peril, some who profess to be Christians have no family worship. 
They do not honor God in the home; they do not teach their children to love and fear...

The idea that prayer is not essential is one of Satan’s most successful devices to ruin souls. Prayer is communion with God, the Fountain of wisdom, the Source of strength, and peace, and happiness...

By sincere, earnest prayer parents should make a hedge about their children. They should pray with full faith that God will abide with them and that holy angels will guard them and their children from Satan’s cruel power.

In every family there should be a fixed time for morning and evening worship. 
How appropriate it is for parents to gather their children about them before the fast is broken, to thank the heavenly Father for His protection during the night, and to ask Him for His help and guidance and watchcare during the day! 

How fitting, also, when evening comes, for parents and children to gather once more before Him and thank Him for the blessings of the day that is past!
