은혜로 변화됨

참된 성화는 사랑의 원칙을 실천함으로 이룩된다.

“하나님은 사랑이시라

사랑 안에 거하는 자는 하나님 안에 거하고 하나님도 그 안에 거하시느니라”(요일 4:16). 

그들의 마음에 그리스도께서 거하시는 사람들의 생애에는 실제적 경건이 나타날 것이다. 

품성은 순결하고, 향상되고, 고상하고, 영화롭게 될 것이다. 
순결한 교리가 의의 행위와 섞이고 하늘의 규례가 거룩한 행실과 혼합될 것이다. 

성화의 축복을 얻을 사람은 먼저 자기희생의 의미를 배워야 한다. 
그리스도의 십자가는 “지극히 크고 영원한 영광의 중한 것”이 걸려 있는 중요한 기둥이다."( 고후 4:17)

"아무든지 나를 따라오려거든 자기를 부인하고 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 좇을 것이니라” (마 16:24). 

하나님께 대한 우리의 사랑을 드러내는 것은 우리의 동포들에게 나타내는 우리의 사랑의 향기이다. 
영혼에게 안식을 가져다주는 것은 인내의 봉사이다.

이스라엘의 행복이 증진되는 것은 겸손하고 근면하고 충실한 수고를 통해서이다. 

하나님께서는 그리스도의 길을 기꺼이 따르고자 하는 사람을 붙드시고 능력을 주신다.

Transformed by Grace

True sanctification comes through the working out of the principle of love. 
“God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” 1 John 4:16.

The life of him in whose heart Christ abides, will reveal practical godliness. The character will be purified, elevated, ennobled, and glorified. 
Pure doctrine will blend with works of righteousness; heavenly precepts will mingle with holy practices.

Those who would gain the blessing of sanctification must first learn the meaning of self-sacrifice. 
The cross of Christ is the central pillar on which hangs the “far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” 2 Corinthians 4:17

“If any man will come after Me,” Christ says, “let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” Matthew 16:24. 

It is the fragrance of our love for our fellow men that reveals our love for God. 
It is patience in service that brings rest to the soul. It is through humble, diligent, faithful toil that the welfare of Israel is promoted. 

God upholds and strengthens the one who is willing to follow in Christ’s way.
