기도와 성령의 능력 안에서 힘쓰라

우리가 필요로 하는 것은 하나님의 성령의 깨워 주시는 감화력이다.

“이는 힘으로 되지 아니하며 능으로 되지 아니하고 오직 나의 신으로 되느니”(슥 4:6)라.

 

쉬지 말고 기도하며, 그대의 기도에 일치하는 행함을 통해 깨어 있으라.

기도드릴 때, 하나님을 믿고, 신뢰하라.

지금은 늦은비의 때, 주님께서 당신의 영을 크게 베풀어 주실 때이다.

기도에 힘쓰며, 성령 안에서 깨어 있으라.

 

사단은 하나님의 백성들이 성령을 위해 기도하는 것을 두려워한다.

하나님의 백성들이 앞길의 모든 장애물을 제거해 버림으로

주님께서 시들어가는 교회와 뉘우침이 없는 신자들에게 성령을 부어 주실 수 있도록 하는 것 만큼

사단이 두려워하는 것은 아무것도 없다. 

 

사단이 자기의 마음대로 할 수 있다면 세상 끝날까지 작거나 크거나 간에 또 한 번의 큰 각성은 없을 것이다.

그러나 우리는 사단의 계책을 모르는 자들이 아니다.

사단의 세력을 물리치는 것은 가능한 일이다. 

 

하나님의 영을 위한 길이 예비 될 때에 축복이 임할 것이다.

사단이 하늘의 창문을 닫아 비가 땅에 내리지 못하게 하는 것은 불가능한 일이며

그가 하나님의 백성에게 내리는 축복의 소나기를 내리지 못하게 하는 것은 더욱 불가능한 일이다.

만일 하나님의 백성들이 누그러진 마음과 통회하는 심령으로 저희 죄를 자복하고 버리며

믿음으로 주님의 허락들을 주장한다면

악한 사람들과 마귀들은 하나님의 사업을 방해할 수 없을 뿐만 아니라

당신의 백성들이 모인 자리에 주님께서 임재하시는 것을 막을 수 없을 것이다.

Be Fervent in Prayer and in the Power of the Holy Spirit

What we need is the quickening influence of the Holy Spirit of God.

“Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.”

 

Pray without ceasing, and watch by working in accordance with your prayers.

As you pray, believe, trust in God.

It is the time of the latter rain, when the Lord will give largely of His Spirit.

Be fervent in prayer, and watch in the Spirit.

 

 Satan Fears God’s People Praying for the Holy Spirit.

There is nothing that

Satan fears so much as that the people of God shall clear the way

by removing every hindrance, so that the Lord can pour out His Spirit

upon a languishing church and an impenitent congregation.

 

If Satan had his way, there would never be another awakening, great or small,

to the end of time.

But we are not ignorant of his devices.

It is possible to resist his power.

 

When the way is prepared for the Spirit of God, the blessing will come.

Satan can no more hinder a shower of blessing from descending upon God’s people

than he can close the windows of heaven that rain cannot come upon the earth.

Wicked men and devils cannot hinder the work of God,

or shut out His presence from the assemblies of His people,

if they will, with subdued, contrite hearts, confess and put away their sins,

and in faith claim His promises.
