When Irritated, Refuse to Speak

화가 날 때, 말하기를 거부하라

 

Let those who are easily irritated refuse to retaliate

when words that vex them are spoken.

쉽게 노를 발하는 사람들이 화나게 만드는 말을 들었을 때 보복하기를 거부하도록 지도하라.

 

Let them seek the Lord in prayer,

asking Him to show them how to work for souls perishing in sin.

기도로 주님을 찾고, 죄 가운데서 멸망해 가는 영혼들을 위해 어떻게 일할 것인지 보여달라고

그분께 구하도록 하라.

 

He who keeps busy in this work will be so thoroughly imbued with the Spirit of God

that his manners, his voice, his whole life, will be a revelation of Christ.

부지런히 이러한 사업을 하는 사람은 하나님의 성령의 영향하에서

그의 태도와 음성과 전 생애가 그리스도에 대한 제시가 될 것이다.

 

Try it, brethren, try it.

형제여, 그렇게 해보라. 이를 실천 해보라.

 

Crucify self, in the place of seeking to crucify your brethren.

그대의 형제를 십자가에 못박는 대신에 그대 자신을 십자가에 못박으라.

 

“If any man will come after Me,” Christ said,

“let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me” (Matthew 16:24).

그리스도께서는

“누구든지 나를 따라오려거든

자기를 부인하고 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 좇을 것이니라”(마 16: 24)고 말씀하셨다.
