거룩한 지식이 인간의 지식이 될 수 있다.

모든 목회자는 그리스도의 교수 방법을 면밀히 연구해야 한다.

그들은 그분의 교훈들을 받아들여야 한다.

20명 중 한 사람도 그리스도의 봉사의 아름다움, 그 진정한 정수를 알고 있지 못하다.

그들은 그것을 찾아내야 한다. 그렇게 되면 그들은 그분의 가르침의 풍성한 열매들을 얻게 될 것이다.

그들은 그 가르침을 온전히 그들의 생활과 실천 속에 엮어 넣음으로써

그리스도께서 그분의 교훈들 속에 포함시키셨다.

사상들과 원칙들이 그들의 가르침 속에 포함되게 될 것이다.

그 진리는 꽃이 피고 가장 고상한 종류의 열매를 맺을 것이다.

일꾼 자신의 마음도 뜨거워질 것이다.

그렇다. 그것은 그들이 다른 사람들의 마음속에 주입하는 활기찬 영적인 생명으로 불타오르게 될 것이다.

Divine knowledge may become human knowledge. Every minister should study closely the manner of Christ's teaching. They must take in His lessons. There is not one in twenty who knows the beauty, the real essence, of Christ's ministry. They are to find it out. Then they will become partakers of the rich fruit of His teachings. They will weave them so fully into their own life and practice that the ideas and principles that Christ brought into His lessons will be brought into their teaching. The truth will blossom and bear the noblest kind of fruit. And the worker's own heart will be warmed; yea it will burn with the vivifying spiritual life which they infuse into the minds of others. – Prophets and Kings, 185-6.
