우리 그리스도인 생애를 참 모습 그대로 나타내도록 하자.

그리스도인의 행로를 즐겁고 매력적이며 흥미있게 만들자.

우리가 하고자 하기만 하면 그렇게 할 수 있다.

 

우리가 신령하고 영원한 사물에 대한 생생한 상상으로 우리의 마음을 가득 채울 수 있으며,

이렇게 함으로써 이것을 다른 사람들의 마음 가운데도 실현시킬 수 있다.

 

믿음의 눈은 예수께서 하나님의 우편에 중보자로 서신 것을 본다.

믿음의 눈은 그분께서 당신을 사랑하는 자들을 위하여 예비하신 저택들을 바라본다.

 

믿음으로 우리는 이기는 자들을 위하여 준비된 두루마기와 면류관을 본다.

믿음으로 우리는 구속받은 자들의 노래를 들으며 영원한 영광을 가깝게 만든다.

 

우리가 만일 아름다우신 왕을 뵐려면

사랑으로 순종하면서 예수께로 가까이 나아가야 한다.

Let us represent the Christian life as it really is; let us make the way cheerful, inviting, interesting. We can do this if we will.

 

We may fill our own minds with vivid pictures of spiritual and eternal things, and in so doing help to make them a reality to other minds.

 

Faith sees Jesus standing as our Mediator at the right hand of God. Faith beholds the mansions He has gone to prepare for those who love Him.

 

Faith sees the robe and crown all prepared for the overcomer. Faith hears the songs of the redeemed, and brings eternal glories near.

 

We must come close to Jesus in loving obedience, if we would see the King in His beauty.
