의기소침한 이들에게 용기를 주라

고통을 겪고 있는 이들에게 동정심이 많으신 구주에 대해 말하라.…

주님은 소망이 없다고 여기는 이들을 동정어린 눈으로 바라보신다.

영혼이 두려움과 공포로 채워져 있을 때, 마음은 그리스도의 부드러운 동정심을 볼 수 없다.

우리의 요양원들은 걱정하는 마음들에 평강과 안식을 가져다주는 기관이 되어야 한다.

만일 그대가 의기소침한 이들에게 소망, 구원하는 믿음, 만족과 기쁨을 고무시킨다면

실망과 불안은 사라질 것이다.

그때에 저들의 육체에는 기이한 변화가 일어날 것이다.

그리스도는 신체와 영혼을 회복시키실 것이며,

주님의 동정과 사랑을 인식하고서 그들은 주님 안에서 쉬게 될 것이다.

주님은 밝게 빛나는 새벽 별이시며, 이 죄되고 타락한 세상의 도덕적 어둠을 뚫고서 비추신다.
주님은 세상의 빛이시며, 마음을 주님께 바치는 모든 이들은 평강과 안식과 기쁨은 발견할 것이다

Inspire the Despondent

Tell the suffering ones of a compassionate Saviour.... He looks with compassion upon those who regard their case as hopeless.

While the soul is filled with fear and terror, the mind cannot see the tender compassion of Christ.

Our sanitariums are to be an agency for bringing peace and rest to the troubled minds.

If you can inspire the despondent with hopeful, saving faith, contentment and cheerfulness will take the place of discouragement and unrest.

Wonderful changes can then be wrought in their physical condition. Christ will restore both body and soul, and, realizing His compassion and love, they will rest in Him.

He is the bright and morning Star, shining amid the moral darkness of this sinful, corrupt world.
He is the Light of the world, and all who give their hearts to Him will find peace, rest, and joy.
