그분은 두 마음을 품은 사람을 받으실 수 없다

복음 잔치에 오라는 초청을 받아들이기 위해서는

먼저 세상에 대한 관심보다 그리스도와 그의 의를 받아들이는 그 한 가지 목적을 더 중요시해야 한다.

하나님께서는 사람에게 모든 것을 주셨다.

그는 사람들에게 당신을 섬기는 일을 모든 세속적이고 이기적인 문제보다 먼저 생각하라고 요구하신다.

그분은 두 마음을 품은 사람을 받으실 수 없다.

세속적 사물에 애착을 둔 마음을 하나님께서 가납하실 수 없다.

이 교훈은 각 시대를 위한 것이다.

우리는 하나님의 어린양이 어디로 인도하시든지 따라가야 한다.

우리는 그의 지도를 받아들여야 하고

그와 교제하는 일을 세상 친구와 교제하는 일보다 더욱 귀히 여겨야 한다.

“아비나 어미를 나보다 더 사랑하는 자는 내게 합당치 아니하고

아들이나 딸을 나보다 더 사랑하는 자도 내게 합당치 아니하”(마 10:37)다고 그리스도께서는 말씀하셨다.

He Cannot Accept a Divided Heart

In order to accept the invitation to the gospel feast, they must make their worldly interests subordinate to the one purpose of receiving Christ and His righteousness.

God gave all for man, and He asks him to place His service above every earthly and selfish consideration.

He cannot accept a divided heart. The heart that is absorbed in earthly affections cannot be given up to God.

The lesson is for all time. We are to follow the Lamb of God whithersoever He goeth.

His guidance is to be chosen, His companionship valued above the companionship of earthly friends.

Christ says, “He that loveth father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me, and he that loveth son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.” Matthew 10:37.
