성공을 얻는 길

 그대들 스스로의 힘으로서가 아니고 하나님께서 주신 은혜와 능력으로

지금 바로 지금, 모든 힘과 모든 재능을 그분께 바치겠다고 결심하라. 

그러면 그대들은 예수께서 그대들에게 명령하시기 때문에 그분을 따르게 될 것이다.

그리고 그대들은 어디로 갈 것인지, 어떤 상급이 주어질 것인지 묻지 않게 될 것이다.

그대들이 “나를 따르라” 는 말씀에 순종할 때 형통할 것이다. 

그대들이 맡은 분야는 지혜롭고 성실한 활동으로 다른 사람들을 빛으로 인도하는 일이다.

거룩하신 지도자이신 예수님의 보호 아래 한 순간도 지체 없이 일을 하고자 작정하고, 행동하고자 결심하라.

그대들이 그분의 사업을 하기 위하여, 그분께서 그대들에게 주신 빛을 선한 행실로 비추기 위하여

자아에 대하여 죽을 때, 그리고 하나님께 굴복할 때,

그대들은 홀로 일하지 않게 될 것이다. 

하나님의 은혜는

무지한 자들과 만물의 마지막이 가까움을 알지 못하는 자들을 깨우치기 위한 모든 노력에 협력하고자

준비가 되어 있다. 

그러나 하나님께서 그대들의 일을 하지는 않으실 것이다.

빛은 풍성하게 주어질 것이다.

그러나 주어진 은혜는 그것이 하나님의 능력과 협력하도록 그대들을 일으킬 때만

그대들의 심령을 돌이킬 것이다. 

그대들은 활동적인 군사로서 그리스도인의 갑옷을 입고 주님의 사업에 임하도록 부름을 받고 있다.

하나님의 능력은 원수가 영혼들에게 던진 세속적인 매력의 마력을 깨뜨리고자 하는 인간의 노력에

협력할 것이다.

How to Gain Success

Resolve, not in your own strength, but in the strength and grace given of God, that you will consecrate to Him now, just now, every power, every ability. 

You will then follow Jesus because He bids you, and you will not ask where, or what reward will be given. It will be well with you as you obey the word: “Follow Me.” 

Your part is to lead others to the light by judicious, faithful efforts. Under the guardianship of the divine Leader, will to do, resolve to act, without a moment’s hesitation.

When you die to self, when you surrender to God, to do His work, to let the light that He has given you shine forth in good works, you will not labor alone. 

God’s grace stands forth to co-operate with every effort to enlighten the ignorant and those who do not know that the end of all things is at hand. 

But God will not do your work. Light may shine in abundance, but the grace given will convert your soul only as it arouses you to co-operate with divine agencies. 

You are called upon to put on the Christian armor and enter the Lord’s service as active soldiers. Divine power is to co-operate with human effort to break the spell of worldly enchantment that the enemy has cast upon souls.
