사람들의 교훈을 받아들이고 하나님의 교훈을 버리게 될 때는 위험하다

우리는 그리스도를 높이고 그분의 아름다움을 찬양하면서 말을 할 때에만 안전하다.
이사야는 말한다.
“한 아기가 우리에게 났고 한 아들을 우리에게 주신 바 되었는데

그 어깨에는 정사를 메었고 그 이름은 기묘자라, 모사라,

전능하신 하나님이라, 영존하시는 아버지라, 평강의 왕이라 할 것임이라.

그 정사와 평강의 더함이 무궁하며

또 다윗의 위에 앉아서 그 나라를 굳게 세우고 자금 이후 영원토록 공평과 정의로 그것을 보존하실 것이라

만군의 여호와의 열심이 이를 이루시리라” (사 9:6, 7).

사람들이 사람들의 교훈을 받아들이고, 그렇게 함으로써 하나님의 교훈을 버리게 될 때는 위험하다.

아, 하나님께서는 사람이 보는 것처럼 보시지 않는다는 것을 그들이 이해하기 전에

모든 사람은 어떠한 교훈을 배워야 하는가.

주께서는 말씀하신다.

“내 생각은 너희 생각과 다르며 내 길은 너희 길과 달라서

하늘이 땅보다 높음 같이 내 길은 너희 길보다 높으며 내 생각은 너희 생각보다 높으니라” (사 55:8, 9).

하나님의 백성들 사이에 결정적인 개혁이 있지 아니하면

그분께서는 당신의 얼굴을 그들에게서 돌리실 것이다.

There is Danger that Men will Receive the Counsel of Men

and Discard the Counsel of God

We are safe only as we exalt Christ, speaking in praise of His excellence.
Isaiah says:
“Unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9:6, 7.

There is danger that men will receive the counsel of men, when by so doing they will discard the counsel of God.

Oh, what lessons all must learn before they will understand that God seeth not as man seeth.

The Lord says: “My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways.... For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8, 9.

Unless there is a decided reformation among the people of God, He will turn His face from them.
