하나님의 동역자
여호와의 귀는 당신의 사업에 임하고 있는 자들의 부르짖음을 듣고자 열려 있다. 그분께서는 약속하셨다. “내가…너를 주목하여 훈계하리로다” (시 32:8).
하나님과 함께 겸손하게 동행하고, 그대들의 의무의 길을 분명히 알려 달라고 그분께 구하라.
그분께서 그분의 대리자들에게 말씀하시고 그분의 동역자가 되도록 요구하실 때, 그들은 예수께서 나사렛의 회당에서 일어나 읽으시고 그분의 사업으로 선포하신 것과 똑같은 종류의 사업을 하게 될 것이다.
“주 여호와의 신이 내게 임하셨으니 이는 여호와께서 내게 기름을 부으사 가난한 자에게 아름다운 소식을 전하게 하려 하심이라 나를 보내사 마음이 상한 자를 고치며 포로 된 자에게 자유를, 갇힌 자에게 놓임을 전파하며” (사 61:1).
죄인에게 죄를 용서하시는 개인의 구주를 제시해 줄 때 우리는 타락한 자의 손을 붙들기 위해 그리스도와 같은 사랑과 동정의 손을 뻗음과 동시에 믿음으로 그리스도의 손을 붙듦으로써 죄인과 구주 사이에 연합의 사슬을 이루게 된다.
끝이 가까웠다. 모든 사람은 지금 예수 그리스도와 함께 신중하고 겸손하고 온유하게 행해야 한다.
모든 진리의 광선을 세상에 비추시는 우리의 귀하신 구주께서는 우리가 도움을 받을 수 없는 왕들이나 사람을 신뢰하지 말고 당신을 완전히 의존하기를 바라신다. 그분께서는 말씀하신다. “나를 떠나서는 너희가 아무 것도 할 수 없음이라” (요 15:5).
우리는 예수께서 그분의 아름다운 모습을 우리에게 새겨주시도록 끊임없이 그분을 쳐다볼 필요가 있다. 우리는 세상 죄를 지고 가는 하나님의 어린양을 보아야 한다. 그렇게 할 때 우리는 동료 인간들에게 그리스도를 나타내게 될 것이다.

Laborer's Together With God
The ear of the Lord is open to the cries of those who are in His service. He has promised: “I will guide thee with Mine eye.” Psalm 32:8.
Walk humbly with God, and ask Him to make your course of duty plain.
When He speaks to His representatives and asks them to be laborers together with Him, they will do the same kind of work that Jesus announced as His work when He stood up to read in the synagogue at Nazareth.
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me; because the Lord hath anointed Me to preach good tidings unto the meek;
He hath sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.” Isaiah 61:1.
In presenting to the sinner a personal, sin-pardoning Saviour, we reach a hand of sympathy and Christlike love to grasp the hand of one fallen, and, laying hold of the hand of Christ by faith, we form a link of union between the sinner and the Saviour.
The end is near, and every soul is now to walk carefully, humbly, meekly with Christ Jesus. Our precious Saviour, from whom all the rays of truth radiate to the world, wants us to put not our trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help; but to lean wholly upon Him.
He says: “Without Me ye can do nothing.” John 15:5.
We need to look to Jesus constantly in order that He may impress upon us His own lovely image. We are to behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Then we shall reveal Christ to our fellow men.
