온갖 시련 속에서 우리가 그리스도를 찾으면

 

하나님께서는 모든 시련에 대비하여 도움의 길을 마련해 주셨다.

광야를 여행하던 이스라엘 백성이 마라의 쓴 물가에 왔을 때, 모세는 여호와께 부르짖었다.

여호와께서는 어떤 새로운 대책을 마련해 주지 않으셨다.

그분께서는 바로 곁에 있는 것에 주의를 끌게 하셨다.

여호와께서는 당신이 창조하신 하나의 관목을 샘에 던져 넣게 하심으로 그 물을 깨끗하고 달게 만드셨다.

그렇게 되자 백성들은 그 물을 마시고 원기를 회복하였다.

 

온갖 시련 속에서 우리가 그리스도를 찾으면, 그분께서는 우리를 도와 주실 것이다.

우리는 눈이 열려 그분의 말씀에 기록되어 있는 치료의 약속을 분별하게 될 것이다.

성령께서는 슬픔을 제거해 줄 모든 축복을 이용하는 방법을 우리에게 가르쳐 주실것이다.

우리의 입술에 닿아 있는 모든 쓴 잔을 위하여 우리는 치료의 나뭇가지를 발견할 수 있다.

 

In Every Trial, If We Seek Him

 

For every trial, God has provided help.

When Israel in the desert came to the bitter waters of Marah, Moses cried unto the Lord. The Lord did not provide some new remedy;

He called attention to that which was at hand.

A shrub which He had created was to be cast into the fountain

to make the water pure and sweet.

When this was done, the people drank of the water and were refreshed.

 

In every trial, if we seek Him, Christ will give us help.

Our eyes will be opened to discern the healing promises recorded in His word.

The Holy Spirit will teach us how to appro­priate every blessing

that will be an antidote to grief.

For every bitter draft that is placed to our lips we shall find a branch of healing.
