진리는 진정시키는 능력이 있음

 

The soothing power of pure truth seen, acted, and maintained in all its bearings

is of a value no language can express to people who are suffering with disease.

 

모든 방면에서 보여지고 행해지며 유지된 순결한 진리의 진정시키는 힘은

질병을 앓고 있는 사람들에게 말로 표현할 수 없는 가치가 있다.

 

Keep ever before the suffering sick the compassion and tenderness of Christ,

and awaken their conscience to a belief in His power to relieve suffering,

and lead them to faith and trust in Him, the Great Healer,

and you have gained a soul and ofttimes a life.

 

고통당하는 환자들 앞에 그리스도의 동정과 자애로우심을 높이 쳐들라.

그리고 고통을 경감시킬 수 있는 그분의 능력을 믿도록 그들의 양심을 일깨워 주라.

위대한 치료자이신 그분을 믿고 신뢰하도록 그들을 인도하라.

그러면 그대는 한 영혼을 얻되, 그 사람의 평생을 얻게 될 것이다.

 

Assurance of God’s Approval—

The assurance of God’s approval will promote physical health.

It fortifies the soul against doubt, perplexity, and excessive grief

that so often sap the vital forces and induce nervous diseases of a most debilitating

and distressing character.

 

하나님께서 인정하신다는 확신―하나님께서 인정하신다는 확신은 신체적 건강을 증진시킬 것이다.

그것은 또한 생명력을 고갈케 하여 괴롭히고 쇠약하게 하며 신경 질환을 유발케 하는

의심과 번민과 지나친 슬픔을 경험하지 않도록 영혼을 방어해 준다.

 

The Lord has pledged His unfailing word that His eye shall be over the righteous

and His ear open to their prayer.

 

주께서는, 당신의 눈은 항상 의인을 향하시고 당신의 귀는 그들의 기도에 기울이신다고
