The Most Beautiful People

 

The most beautiful people we have known are those who

have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss,

and have found their way out of the depths.

 

These persons have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life that

fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern.

 

가장 아름다운 사람들이란 실패를 알고, 고통을 겪고, 투쟁을 알고, 상실을 경험하며,

깊은 구덩이로부터 나오는 자신들의 길을 발견한 이들이다.

 

그들은 동정심과 따뜻함, 사랑과 배려로 가득한,

곧 삶에 대한 이해와 감수성, 감사의 마음을 지니고 있다.

 

Beautiful people do not just happen.

 

아름다운 사람들은 우연히 있는 것이 아니다.

 

When we face the worst that can happen in any situation, we grow.

When circumstances are at their worst, we can find our best.

When we find the true meaning of these lessons, we also find happy, meaningful lives.

Not perfect, but authentic.

We can live life profoundly.

 

최악의 상황에 직면할 때, 우리는 더 많이 성장한다.

조건이 가장 나쁠 때, 오히려 자신이 가진 최상의 것을 발견할 수 있다.
