참된 성공

 

To everyone who offers himself to the Lord for service, withholding nothing, is given power for the attainment of measureless results.

 

봉사를 위하여 하나도 남김없이 자신을 전부 주님께 바치는 자에게는

무한한 성과를 거둘 수 있는 능력이 주어진다.

 

True success in any line of work is not the result of chance or accident or destiny.

It is the outworking of God’s providences, the reward of faith and discretion,

of virtue and perseverance.

 

Fine mental qualities and a high moral tone are not the result of accident.

God gives opportunities; success depends upon the use made of them.

 

어떤 방면의 사업에서든지 참된 성공은 기회나 우연이나 운명의 결과가 아니다.

이것은 하나님의 섭리를 완성하는 일이요 신앙과 분별력의 보상이요 덕행과 인내의 보상이다.

 

우수한 지적 바탕과 높은 도덕적 경향은 우연한 결과가 아니다.

하나님께서는 기회들을 주시며 성공은 기회를 이용하는 데 달려 있다.
