전적으로 하나님을 의지하는 영혼만큼 강한 것은 없다

전적으로 하나님을 의지하는 영혼만큼 강한 것은 없다

 

 

투쟁의 최선봉에 서서 성령으로 말미암아 특별한 사업을 하도록 재촉을 받고 있는 자들도

압력이 제거될 때 흔히 반작용을 느끼게 될 것이다.

낙담은 가장 영웅적인 믿음도 흔들 수 있고 가장 확고한 의지도 약하게 할 수 있다.

그러나 하나님께서는 그 모든 것을 이해하시고 여전히 동정하시고 사랑하신다.

하나님께서는 동기와 마음의 의도를 훤히 아신다.

모든 것이 어둡게 보일 때에 끈기 있게 기다리고 의지하는 것이

하나님의 사업을 지도하는 자들이 배워야 할 교훈이다.

하늘은 역경의 날에 그들을 버리지 않을 것이다.

 

표면상으로는 무력한 것 같으나

자신의 무가치함을 느끼고 전적으로 하나님을 의지하는 영혼만큼 참으로 강한 것은 없다.

 

Nothing is more invincible than the Soul that Relies wholly on God

 

Those who, standing in the forefront of the conflict,

are impelled by the Holy Spirit to do a special work,

will frequently feel a reaction when the pressure is removed.

Despondency may shake the most heroic faith and weaken the most steadfast will.

But God understands, and He still pities and loves.

He reads the motives and the purposes of the heart.

To wait patiently, to trust when everything looks dark, is the lesson

that the leaders in God’s work need to learn.

Heaven will not fail them in their day of adversity.

 

Nothing is apparently more helpless,

yet really more invincible, than the soul that feels its nothingness

and relies wholly on God.
