두려워 하지 말라

 

예수께서는 이렇게 말씀하셨다.

 

“이 모든 것은 세상 백성들이 구하는 것이라

너희 아버지께서 이런 것이 너희에게 있어야 될 줄을 아시느니라”(누가 12: 30).

 

“너희는 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라 그리하면 이 모든 것을 너희에게 더하시리라”(마태 6:33).

 

나는 너희에게 사랑과 의와 평화의 나라를 알려 주기 위해 왔노라.

마음을 열고 이 나라를 받아들이며, 이 나라를 위한 봉사에 최대의 관심을 쏟으라.

 

비록 이 나라가 영적인 것이라 할지라도,

현실 생애를 위한 너희의 필요가 돌봄을 받지 못할까 두려워하지 말라.

너희가 하나님을 섬기는 데 열중한다면

하늘과 땅의 모든 권세를 가지신 분께서 너희의 필요를 채워 주실 것이니라.

 

 

Fear Not

“All these things,” said Jesus, “do the nations of the world seek after.”

“Your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

 

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness;

and all these things shall be added unto you.” Luke 12:30; Matthew 6:32, 33.

 

I have come to open to you the kingdom of love and righteousness and peace. Open your hearts to receive this kingdom,

and make its service your highest interest.

 

Though it is a spiritual kingdom, fear not that your needs for this life will be uncared-for.

If you give yourself to God’s service,

He who has all power in heaven and earth will provide for your needs.
