믿는 자에게는 모든 것이 가능하다

 

그리스도는 우리의 현재의, 충만한 구원자이시다. 그분 안에 모든 충만이 거한다.

그리스도가 참으로 그들에게 진리가 된다는 사실을 아는 것은 기독교인의 특권이다.

“세상을 이긴 이김은 이것이니 곧 우리의 믿음이니라.”

믿는 자에게는 모든 것이 가능하다.

우리가 원하는 것은 무엇이나 기도하고 그것을 받은 줄로 믿으면 우리는 받게 될 것이다.

이 믿음은 칠흑같은 구름을 뚫고 의기 소침하여 실의에 빠진 영혼에게 빛과 소망을 준다.

당혹함과 근심스런 두려움, 악한 생각 등은 이러한 믿음과 신뢰가 없기 때문에 생긴다.

하나님께서는 그들이 온전히 신뢰할 때에 그 백성들을 위하여 큰 일을 하실 것이다.

 

“지족하는 마음이 있으면 경건이 큰 이익이 되느니라.”

정결하고 더러움이 없는 경건은 생활 속에서 나타날 것이다.

그리스도는 결코 실패 없는 능력의 근원이며,

모든 시험의 때에 즉시 도우시는 분으로 나타날 것이다.

 

All Things are Possible to Him that Believe

 

Christ is our present, all-sufficient Savior.

In Him all fullness dwells.

It is the privilege of Christians to know indeed that Christ is in them of a truth.

“This is the victory that overcome the world, even our faith.”

All things are possible to him that believe;

and whatsoever things we desire when we pray,

if we believe that we receive them we shall have them.

This faith will penetrate the darkest cloud and bring rays of light

and hope to the drooping, desponding soul.

It is the absence of this faith and trust

which brings perplexity, distressing fears, and surmising of evil.

God will do great things for His people when they put their entire trust in Him.

 

“Godliness with contentment is great gain.”

Pure and undefiled religion will be exemplified in the life.

Christ will prove a never-failing source of strength,

a present help in every time of trouble.
