하늘 창고의 열쇠

 

기도는 전능하신 자의 무한한 자원(資源-富, 力, 지智 等의)을 쌓아 둔 하늘 창고를 여는

믿는 자의 수중에 있는 열쇠이건만 하나님의 자녀들은 어찌하여 기도하기를 싫어하는지?

끊임없는 기도와 늘 깨어있음이 없이는

우리는 부주의하게 되고 정도에서 탈선할 위험성이 있게 된다.

대적 마귀는 우리가 열성 있는 간구와 믿음으로 시험을 이길만한 은혜와 능력을 얻지 못하도록

하기 위하여 은혜의 보좌로 가는 길을 막으려고 끊임없이 애쓴다.

 

그리스도께서는 우리들의 유일한 소망이시다.

세상을 위하여 자신의 생명을 바치신 주님의 이름으로 하나님께 나아오라.

당신의 희생의 효험을 의지하라.

주님의 사랑과 주님의 기쁨이 그대들의 영혼 안에 깃들여 있음을 나타내 보이라.

그리하면 이 일로 인해서 그대들의 기쁨은 더욱 충만하게 될 것이다.

불신에 대하여 말하는 것을 그치라. 우리들의 능력의 근원은 하나님 안에 있다.

기도를 많이 하라. 기도는 영혼의 생명이다.

믿음의 기도는 우리가 원수의 모든 공격을 성공적으로 막아낼 수 있는 무기이다.

 

The Key of Heaven’s Storehouse

Why should the sons and daughters of God be reluctant to pray, when prayer is the key in the hand of faith to unlock heaven’s storehouse, where are treasured the boundless resources of Omnipotence? Without unceasing prayer and diligent watching we are in danger of growing careless and of deviating from the right path. The adversary seeks continually to obstruct the way to the mercy seat, that we may not by earnest supplication and faith obtain grace and power to resist temptation. — Steps to Christ, 94, 95.

Christ is our only hope. Come to God in the name of Him who gave His life for the life of the world. Rely upon the efficacy of His sacrifice. Show that His love, His joy, is in your soul, and that because of this, your joy is full. In God is our strength. Pray much. Prayer is the life of the soul. The prayer of faith is the weapon by which we may successfully resist every assault of the enemy. — Selected Messages 1:88.
