마지막 시대를 살고 있는 자들의 기도

마지막 시대를 살고 있는 자들은 특별히 기도할 필요가 있다. -

만일 신의 능력을 가지신 인류의 구세주께서 기도의 필요를 느끼셨다면, 하물며

죽을 수밖에 없는 죄스러운 인간이 열렬하고 계속적인 기도의 필요를 얼마나 더 느껴야 할 것인가!

 

그리스도께서 가장 심한 시험을 당하실 때는 아무것도 잡수시지 않으셨다.

하나님께서 당신 자신을 위탁하시고, 열렬한 기도와 당신의 아버지 뜻에 완전히 복종하심으로,

그분은 정복자가 되셨다.

그리스도인들이라고 공언하는 다른 모든 부류의 사람들보다도,

이 마지막 시대를 위한 진리를 가졌다고 공언하는 자들은 기도에 있어서 위대하신 모본자를

모방해야 할 것이다.

 

The Prayer of Those Living in the Last Days

 

Those Living in the Last Days Especially Need to Pray. If the Saviour of men, with His divine strength, felt the need of prayer, how much more should feeble, sinful mortals feel the necessity of prayer—fervent, constant prayer! When Christ was the most fiercely beset by temptation, He ate nothing. He committed Himself to God, and through earnest prayer, and perfect submission to the will of His Father, came off conqueror. Those who profess the truth for these last days, above every other class of professed Christians, should imitate the great Exemplar in prayer. – Prayer, 274.
