치료의 능력이 홍수처럼 쏟아질 것

 

그리스도께서 온 몸을 통하여 나누어 주시는 사랑은 하나의 생명력이며

뇌, 심장, 신경 등과 같은 모든 중요한 부분은 치료하는 일을 촉진시킨다.

그것에 의하여 사람의 최고의 능력들이 활동하게 된다.

그것은 생명력을 파멸시키는 죄책감과 슬픔, 근심과 걱정에서 심령을 해방시켜 준다.

거기에서 평온과 안정(安靜)이 온다.

그것은 어떤 세속적인 것이 파괴할 수 없는 기쁨, 곧 성령 안에 있는 기쁨, 건강을 주고

생명을 주는 기쁨을 심령 속에 심어 준다.

 

“내게로 오라 내가 너희를 쉬게 하리라”고 하신 우리 구주의 말씀은

육체적, 정신적, 영적 질병을 치료하는 처방이다.

비록 사람들이 그들의 잘못으로 고통을 자기 자신에게 초래하였을지라도

그분께서는 그들을 불쌍히 여기신다.

그들은 그분 안에서 도움을 찾을 수 있다.

그분께서는 당신을 신뢰하는 사람들을 위하여 큰 일을 행하실 것이다.

 

비록 각 시대를 통하여 죄가 인류를 더욱 힘 있게 장악해 오고,

거짓과 교묘한 수단을 통하여 사단이 하나님의 말씀 위에 자신의 해석의 검은 그림자를 던짐으로써

사람들로 하여금 그분의 선하심을 의심하게 했을지라도,

아버지의 자비와 사랑이 이 땅으로 풍성하게 흘러내리는 일은 그치지 않았다.

만일 사람들이 하나님의 선물을 감사하는 마음에서 심령의 창을 하늘로 향하여 열 것같으면,

치료의 능력이 홍수처럼 쏟아질 것이다.

 

A Flood of Healing Virtue Would Pour In.

 

The love which Christ diffuses through the whole being is a vitalizing power. Every vital part--the brain, the heart, the nerves--it touches with healing. By it the highest energies of the being are roused to activity. It frees the soul from the guilt and sorrow, the anxiety and care, that crush the life forces. With it come serenity and composure. It implants in the soul, joy that nothing earthly can destroy,--joy in the Holy Spirit,--health-giving, life-giving joy.

Our Saviour's words, "Come unto Me, . . . and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28), are a prescription for the healing of physical, mental, and spiritual ills. Though men have brought suffering upon themselves by their own wrongdoing, He regards them with pity. In Him they may find help. He will do great things for those who trust in Him.

Although for ages sin has been strengthening its hold on the human race, although through falsehood and artifice Satan has cast the black shadow of his interpretation upon the word of God, and has caused men to doubt His goodness; yet the Father's mercy and love have not ceased to flow earthward in rich currents. If human beings would open the windows of the soul heavenward, in appreciation of the divine gifts, a flood of healing virtue would pour in. - Ministry of Healing, 115-116.
