그리스도를 신뢰하는 가운데 전진하라

 

우리는 그리스도께서 각 신자들로 가질 수 있게 하신 저 산 믿음을 서로가 지니도록

격려하여야 한다.

주께서 길을 예비하실 때에 사업은 전진하여야 한다.

그분이 당신의 백성을 좁은 장소로 인도하실 때에는

모든 것이 하나님께로부터 온다는 것을 기억하는 가운데

함께 모여서 기도하는 것은 그들의 특권이다.

 

이 마지막 날의 사업에 따르는 곤란의 체험을 하지 못한 이들은

미구에 하나님께 대한 그들의 신뢰를 혹독하게 시험할 장면들을 통과하여야 할 것이다.

 

앞에는 홍해, 뒤에는 추격하는 군대가 있을 뿐 전진할 길을 도무지 찾지 못하였을 때,

하나님께서 그 백성들에게 “앞으로 가라”고 명하셨다.

이와같이 그분은 그들의 신앙을 시험하고 계셨다.

 

이런 경험이 그대들에게 닥칠 때에는 그리스도를 신뢰하는 가운데 전진하라.

그분이 그려 놓으신 길로 한 걸음 한 걸음 걸어가라.

시련이 올 것이다. 그러나, 앞으로 나아가라.

이것이 그대들에게 하나님을 신뢰하는 믿음을 강하게 해 주고

참으로 진실된 봉사를 하기에 적합한 자들이 되게 할 것이다.

 

Go Forward, Trusting in Christ

We are to encourage in one another that living faith which Christ has made it possible for every believer to have. The work is to be carried forward as the Lord prepares the way. When He brings His people into strait places, then it is their privilege to assemble together for prayer, remembering that all things come of God.

Those who have not yet shared in the trying experiences that attend the work in these last days will soon have to pass through scenes that will severely test their confidence in God. It is at the time His people see no way to advance, when the Red Sea is before them and the pursuing army behind, that God bids them: “Go forward.” Thus He is working to test their faith. When such experiences come to you, go forward, trusting in Christ. Walk step by step in the path He marks out. Trials will come, but go forward. This will give you an experience that will strengthen your faith in God and fit you for truest service. – Testimony Treasures 3, 421.
