높은 특권

하나님께서는 당신의 백성의 교사이시다. 그분 앞에서 그 마음을 겸비하게 갖는 모든 사람은 하나님께 가르침을 받을 것이다. “너희 중에 누구든지 지혜가 부족하거든 모든 사람에게 후히 주시고 꾸짖지 아니하시는 하나님께 구하라 그리하면 주시리라”(약 1:5).

주님께서는 모든 교인들이 지혜를 얻기 위하여 열렬하게 기도하기를 원하시는데, 이는 그들이 주님께서 그들로 무엇을 하게 하시려는지를 알 수 있게 하려 하심이다. 개인적인 체험을 얻어 자기의 근심과 염려를 하나님께 가져가는 것을 배우는 것은 모든 신자의 특권이다. “하나님을 가까이 하라 그리하면 너희를 가까이 하시리라”(약 4:8)고 성경에 기록되어 있다. - - 목사와 복음 교역자에게 보내는 권면, 478.

 

An Exalted Privilege

 

God is the Teacher of His people. All who humble their hearts before Him will be taught of God. “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

The Lord wants every church member to pray earnestly for wisdom, that he may know what the Lord would have him do. It is the privilege of every believer to obtain an individual experience, learning to carry his cares and perplexities to God. It is written, “Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you.” – Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers, 478.
