우리가 난관에 봉착했을 때

우리는 난관에 봉착했을 때 하나님께 의뢰해야 한다.

우리는 무분별한 행동으로 말미암아 시험을 자초하지 않도록

생애의 모든 행동에 지혜와 판단을 활용해야 한다.

우리는 하나님께서 제공하신 수단을 무시하고

그분이 주신 재능을 오용하면서 어려움 속으로 뛰어들어서는 안 된다.

그리스도의 일꾼들은 그분의 교훈에 전적으로 순종해야 한다.

 

우리가 하는 일은 하나님의 사업이니, 우리가 남을 축복하고자 한다면 그분의 계획을 따라야 한다. 자아를 중심으로 삼을 수는 없다. 자아는 하등의 명예를 받을 수 없다.

만일 우리가 우리 자신의 생각대로 계획한다면 주께서는 우리가 실수하도록 버려두실 것이다.

그러나 그분의 분부를 좇은 후에 우리가 어려운 환경에 처하게 되면 그분께서 우리를 구원하실 것이다. 우리는 낙담하여 물러설 것이 아니라

위기를 당할 때마다 무한한 자원을 자유로 쓰실 수 있는 분에게 도움을 구해야 한다.

우리는 자주 곤경에 둘러싸일 것이다. 이때에 우리는 온전한 확신을 가지고 하나님을 의뢰해야 한다. 그분께서는 당신의 법도를 지키기 위하여 당하는 시련 때문에 곤란에 빠진 각 영혼을

보호해 주실 것이다.

 

 

 

When We Are Brought into Strait Places

 

And when we are brought into strait places, we are to depend on God. We are to exercise wisdom and judgment in every action of life, that we may not, by reckless movements, place ourselves in trial. We are not to plunge into difficulties, neglecting the means God has provided, and misusing the faculties He has given us. Christ's workers are to obey His instructions implicitly.

The work is God's, and if we would bless others His plans must be followed. Self cannot be made a center; self can receive no honor. If we plan according to our own ideas, the Lord will leave us to our own mistakes. But when, after following His directions, we are brought into strait places, He will deliver us. We are not to give up in discouragement, but in every emergency we are to seek help from Him who has infinite resources at His command. Often we shall be surrounded with trying circumstances, and then, in the fullest confidence, we must depend upon God. He will keep every soul that is brought into perplexity through trying to keep the way of the Lord. – Desires of Ages, 369.
