우리 앞에 있는 엄숙한 사건들

아마겟돈 전쟁이 치러질 것이다.

그 날에 우리 중 아무도 잠을 자서는 안 된다.

등과 함께 그릇에 기름을 담아 가지고 있는 슬기로운 처녀들처럼 우리는 바짝 깨어 있어야 한다.

성령의 능력이 우리에게 있어야 하며

여호와의 군대 장관이 전쟁을 지휘하기 위하여 하늘 천사들의 선두에 서실 것이다.

우리 앞에 있는 엄숙한 사건들이 이제 곧 일어난다.

계속하여 나팔 소리가 울려 퍼질 것이며 진노의 대접들이 지상의 거민들 위에 쏟아질 것이다. 

굉장히 흥미로운 장면들이 임박해 있으며 이 일들은 모든 진취적인 움직임을 지도하시고, 

모든 세대를 통하여 그분의 사업의 행진에 함께 하시고,

은혜롭게도 모든 투쟁에 있어서 그분의 백성들과 세상 끝까지 함께 하시겠다고

스스로 맹세하신 그분의 임재의 분명한 표시이다. 

그분은 그분의 진리를 옹호하실 것이다.

그분은 진리가 승리하게 하실 것이다.

그분은 시간이 임박할수록 그분의 충실한 자들에게

희망과 증가되는 활동에 있어서의 용기와 용맹을 고취시키시면서

동기와 힘있는 목적을 제공할 준비를 갖추고 계신다.

Solemn Events Before Us

The battle of Armageddon will be fought. And that day must find none of us sleeping. Wide awake we must be, as wise virgins having oil in our vessels with our lamps.

The power of the Holy Ghost must be upon us and the Captain of the Lord’s host will stand at the head of the angels of heaven to direct the battle. 

Solemn events before us are yet to transpire. Trumpet after trumpet is to be sounded; vial after vial poured out one after another upon the inhabitants of the earth. 

Scenes of stupendous interest are right upon us and these things will be sure indications of the presence of Him who has directed in every aggressive movement, 

who has accompanied the march of his cause through all the ages, and who has graciously pledged Himself to be with his people in all their conflicts to the end of the world. 

He will vindicate his truth. He will cause it to triumph. He is ready to supply his faithful ones with motives and power of purpose, inspiring them with hope and courage and valor in increased activity as the time is at hand.
