확실한 영혼의 약

  “저가 네 모든 죄악을 사하시며 네 모든 병을 고치시며" - 시 103:3.

그리스도께서 우리들에게 하나님의 말씀을 주심으로써 남녀들은 모든 영적 질병의 약을 공급받게 되었다.

이 말씀은 인간의 품성의 시금석이다.

이것은 질병을 지적하며 그 약을 처방한다.

이 말씀 가운데는 모든 영적 음식물에 대한 지시가 있다.

이 하나님의 명백한 지시는 마음과 온 몸에 건강을 끼쳐줄 것이다.

만일 이것을 믿음으로 취하고 신실하게 행할 것 같으면 이 약은 절대적으로 확실할 것이다.

주님께서는 그분의 거룩한 말씀 가운데 그분의 음성을 말씀하셨다.

이 축복받은 장절들은 충만한 교훈들과 생명이 있으며 진리와 조화를 이룬다.

그들은 행위에 완전한 법칙이다.

비록 어떤 특수한 경우가 언급되지 않을 수 있을지라도,

생애의 모든 환경에 적용하도록 원칙이 놓였으며, 교훈을 주셨다.

믿음의 완전한 제도가 되는 기초와 실천해야 될 정확한 노선에 필수적인 것이 드러내지지 않은 것이 없다.

우리 손에 맡기신 모든 의무에 대한 하나님의 요구가 분명하다.

성경을 저들의 안내자와 권고의 대상으로 삼는 온유하고, 정직한 자들에게는

어느 누구도 바른 길에서 잘못될 필요가 없다.

  만일 그대가 도움을 구하는 신실한 마음으로 하나님의 말씀을 연구하면

주님께서는 그대의 영혼을 빛으로써 채워 주실 것이다.

그대의 사업을 하나님이 인정할 것이며 그대의 감화는 생명의 향기가 될 것이다.

Sure Remedy for the Soul

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases. - Psalm 103:3.

Christ has given us His Word, that men and women may be thoroughly furnished with a remedy for all spiritual diseases.

The Word is a test of human character. It points out the disease, and prescribes the remedy. In the Word is a prescription for every spiritual ailment.

The plain commands of God will exert a healthful influence upon the mind, and upon the whole body. If taken in faith and faithfully practiced, its remedies are infallible.

The Lord has uttered His voice in His Holy Word. Those blessed pages are full of instruction and life, harmonious with truth.

They are a perfect rule of conduct. Instructions are given, principles are laid down, which apply to every circumstance in life, even though some particular case may not be stated.

Nothing is left unrevealed which is essential to a complete system of faith and a correct line of practice. Every duty that God requires at our hands is made plain....

None will err from the right path who meekly and honestly take the Bible as their guide, making it the man of their counsel.

Depend on this: If you study the Word of God with a sincere desire to get help, the Lord will fill your soul with light. Your work will be approved of God, and your influence will be a savor of life.
