기도로 그대의 하루를 보내라

마음을 열어 그리스도의 임재의 빛이 들어오도록 하는 것은 우리의 특권이다. 

... 그리스도께 실제적이고 개인적으로 접촉한다면 높이 올려지고 소생시키는 영향을 발휘할 수 있다.

그대의 믿음을 강하고 순결하고 확고부동하게 하라. 

하나님을 향한 감사로 그대의 마음을 채우라. 

그대가 아침에 일어날 때 침대 옆에 무릎을 꿇고

그날의 의무를 수행할 힘과 그 시험에 직면할 힘을 주시도록 구하라. 

그리스도의 감미로운 성품을 그대의 작업장에 가져와 그대를 돕도록 그분께 구하라. 

그대 주변에 있는 사람들에게 희망과 용기를 불어넣고

그대를 구속주께 가까이 끌어당기는 말을 하도록 그대를 도우시기를 구하라.

가르침과 지도를 위해 날마다 주님께 가라. 

빛과 지식을 위해 하나님께 의지하라. 

그대가 이 가르침과 이 빛을 얻을 때까지 그것을 위해 기도하라. 

그대가 구한 다음 그대가 기도한 것을 잊어버리는 것은 소용이 없다. 

그대의 마음을 그대의 기도에 두라.

그대의 손으로 일하는 동안 이렇게 할 수 있다. 

그대는 이렇게 말할 수 있다. 

“주님 내가 믿습니다. 나의 온 마음으로 내가 믿사오니 거룩한 성령의 능력이 내게 오게 하소서.”

Begin Your Day With Prayer

It is our privilege to open our hearts, and let the sunshine of Christ’s presence in.

 

My brother, my sister, face the light. Come into actual, personal contact with Christ, that you may exert an influence that is uplifting and reviving. 

Let your faith be strong and pure and steadfast. Let gratitude to God fill your hearts. 

When you rise in the morning, kneel at your bedside, and ask God to give you strength to fulfil the duties of the day, and to meet its temptations. 

Ask Him to help you to bring into your work Christ’s sweetness of character. 

Ask Him to help you to speak words that will inspire those around you with hope and courage, and draw you nearer to the Saviour.

Go daily to the Lord for instruction and guidance; depend upon God for light and knowledge. 

Pray for this instruction and this light, until you get it. 

It will not avail for you to ask, and then forget the thing for which you prayed. 

Keep your mind upon your prayer. 

You can do this while working with your hands. 

You can say, Lord, I believe; with all my heart I believe Let the Holy Spirit’s power come upon me.
