순종함으로 안식하게 됨

그곳에는 영혼 속으로 흘러 들어오는 평화, 지속적인 평화가 있을 것인데,

이는 안식이 예수 그리스도께 완전히 순복할 때 찾아오기 때문이다.

하나님의 뜻에 순종하면 안식을 발견할 것이다.

구속주의 온유하고 겸손한 발걸음 가운데 걷는 제자는

세상이 줄 수 없을뿐더러 세상이 취해 갈 수도 없는 안식을 발견한다.

“주께서 심지가 견고한 자를 평강에 평강으로 지키시리니 이는 그가 주를 의뢰함이니이다”(사 26: 3).

Obedience Produces Rest

There will be peace, constant peace, flowing into the soul, for the rest is found in perfect submission to Jesus Christ.

Obedience to God’s will finds the rest.

The disciple that treads in the meek and lowly steps of the Redeemer finds rest which the world cannot give and the world cannot take away.

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee” (Isaiah 26:3).
