예수께서 그대들을 돕는 자가 되심을 항상 기억하라

사람(청년)들은 무한한 대가(代價) 즉, 하나님의 아들의 피로 산 바되었다.

당신의 아들로 하여금 이러한 희생을 하도록 허락하신 아버지의 희생을 생각해 보라. 

사람을 대신하여 날마다 드리는 희생의 제물로 당신의 생명을 바치시고자

하늘 조정과 왕좌(王座)를 버리고 나오실 때에 그리스도께서는 얼마나 큰 희생을 치르셨는가를 생각해 보라. 

그리스도는 비난과 욕설을 받으셨다.

그는 악인들이 퍼부을 수 있는 모든 모욕과 조롱을 받으시면서도 그것을 참으셨다.

그리고 그의 지상 봉사가 끝났을 때 그는 십자가에 달려 돌아가셨다. 

손과 발에 못이 박히고, 당신이 구원하시기 위하여 오신 자들로부터 오히려 조소와 욕설을 받으시고,

당신의 아버지는 얼굴을 감추시던, 십자가 상의 그리스도의 고난을 생각해 보라. 

그러나 원하는 모든 사람들이 하나님의 생명에 비견될 수 있는 생명을 얻는 것을 가능케 하신 것은

이러한 모든 고난으로 말미암은 것이었다.

아버지께로 올라가실 때 그리스도께서는 당신을 따르는 자들을 의지할 데 없이 버려두지 않으셨다.

당신의 대표자이신 성령과 수종하는 하늘 천사들을 보내시사

절대 다수의 적을 상대로 믿음의 선한 싸움을 싸우고 있는 자들을 도우셨다. 

예수께서 그대들을 돕는 자가 되심을 항상 기억하라.

예수님처럼 그대들의 특성을 잘 이해하는 분은 아무도 없다.

그분은 그대들을 지키고 계신다.

그리고 그대들이 그분의 인도를 기꺼이 받고자 한다면,

그분은 그대들에 대한 당신의 모든 뜻을 그대들이 능히 이룰 수 있도록

선한 영향력들로 그대들을 둘러 주실 것이다.

Ever Remember That Jesus Is Your Helper

The youth have been bought with an infinite price, even the blood of the Son of God. Consider the sacrifice of the Father in permitting His Son to make this sacrifice. 

Consider what Christ gave up when He left the courts of heaven and the royal throne, to give His life a daily sacrifice for men. He suffered reproach and abuse. He bore all the insult and mockery that wicked men could heap upon Him. And when His earthly ministry was accomplished, He suffered the death of the cross. 

Consider His sufferings on the cross,—the nails driven into His hands and feet, the derision and abuse from those He came to save, the hiding of His Father’s face. 

But it was by all this that Christ made it possible for all who will to have the life that measures with the life of God.

When Christ ascended to the Father, He did not leave His followers without help. The Holy Spirit, as His representative, and the heavenly angels, as ministering spirits, are sent forth to aid those who against great odds are fighting the good fight of faith. 

Ever remember that Jesus is your helper. No one understands as well as He your peculiarities of character. He is watching over you, and if you are willing to be guided by Him, He will throw around you influences for good that will enable you to accomplish all His will for you.
