생애의 성공의 비결

생애의 성공의 비결은 작은 것들에 대하여 신중하고 양심적으로 주의하는 데 있다.

하나님은 단순한 잎과 작은 꽃과 풀잎을 당신께서 세상을 창조하시는 것과 똑같은 주의력으로 만드신다.

강하고 아름다운 품성의 균형잡힌 구조는 개개의 의무 이행으로 이루어진다. 

모든 사람은 가장 큰 의무에서는 물론이요 가장 작은 의무에서 성실하게 되는 법을 배워야 한다. 

그들의 사업에서 작은 일들에 대한 성실하고 근면하고 검약한 주의가 들어 있음이 나타나 있지 않는 한

하나님의 심사에 통과될 수 없다...

모든 사람은 절약하는 일에 무엇인가를 할 수 있다.

모든 사람은 사람들의 칭찬을 받기 위해서가 아니고 하나님의 엄밀한 심사를 받을 수 있는 그런 방법으로

그들의 의무를 이행해야 한다.

The Secret of Life’s Success

The secret of life’s success is in a careful, conscientious attention to the little things. 

God makes the simple leaf, the tiny flower, the blade of grass, with as much care as He creates a world. The symmetrical structure of a strong, beautiful character is built up by individual acts of duty. 

All should learn to be faithful in the least as well as in the greatest duty. Their work cannot bear the inspection of God unless it is found to include a faithful, diligent, economical care for the little things...

Everyone can do something toward economizing. All should perform their work, not to win praise of men, but in such a manner that it may bear the scrutiny of God.
