지혜뿐만 아니라 능력도 받을 것

 

주께서는 당신의 백성들이 자신들을 낮게 평가할 때에 실망하신다. 

그분께서는 당신의 택하신 백성들이 

당신이 그들에게 매기신 값에 의하여 자신들을 평가하기를 원하신다. 

하나님께서는 그들을 원하셨다. 

그렇지 않았더라면그분은 그들을 구속하려고 

그처럼 값비싼 심부름으로 당신의 아들을 보내지 않으셨을 것이다. 

그분은 그들을 쓰실 데가 있으시며, 

그들이 당신의 이름을 영화롭게 하려고 당신에게 가장 큰 요구를 할 때에 매우 기뻐하신다. 

만일 그들이 그분의 약속들을 믿는다면 그들은 큰 것을 기대할 수 있다.

 

그리스도께서 인성을 쓰시고 율법대로 생애하신 것처럼,

우리도 능력을 얻기 위하여 강하신 자(그리스도)를 붙든다면 그분처럼 살 수 있을 것이다... 

우리가 믿음으로 그분께 나아간다면 그분의 비밀을 우리에게 개인적으로 말씀해 주실 것이다. 

주께서 에녹에게 그러하셨듯이 우리와 교통하려고 가까이 오시는 때에 

우리 마음은 우리 속에서때때로 불타게 될 것이다. 

 

어떤 면에서든지 하나님께 불쾌히 여기시도록 하지 않기로 결정하는 자들은 

그들의 실정을 하나님 앞에 아뢸 때 바로 어떤 길로 나아가야 할지 알게 될 것이다. 

그들은 지혜뿐만 아니라 능력도 받을 것이다. 

그리스도께서 약속하신 순종과 봉사에 필요한 능력이 그들에게 주어질 것이다. 

 

타락한 인간의 필요를 채워 주기 위한 “모든것”은 

인간의 머리요 대표자이신 그리스도에게 주어졌다. 

그러므로 “무엇이든지 구하는 바를 그에게 받나니 

이는 우리가 그의 계명들을 지키고 그 앞에서 기뻐하시는것을 행함이라”(요일 3：22).

Will Receive Not only Wisdom, But Strength

 

The Lord is disappointed when His people place a low estimate upon themselves. He desires His chosen heritage to value themselves according to the price He has placed upon them. God wanted them, else He would not have sent His Son on such an expensive errand to redeem them. 

He has a use for them, and He is well pleased when they make the very highest demands upon Him, that they may glorify His name. They may expect large things if they have faith in His promises…

As Christ lived the law in humanity, so we may do if we will take hold of the Strong for strength... If we come to Him in faith, He will speak His mysteries to us personally. Our hearts will often burn within us as one draws nigh to commune with us as He did with Enoch. 

Those who decide to do nothing in any line that will displease God, will know, after presenting their case before Him, just what course to pursue. And they will receive not only wisdom, but strength. Power for obedience, for service, will be imparted to them, as Christ has promised. Whatever was given to Christ--the "all things" to supply the need of fallen men--was given to Him as the head and representative of humanity. And "whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight." 1 John 3:22.
