예수님의 전 생애는 봉사의 법칙 아래 있었다

 

당신의 생애와 교훈으로 그리스도께서는 하나님 안에 그 기원이 있는 무아의 봉사에 대한 완전한 모본을 보이셨다.

하나님께서는 자신을 위하여 살지 않으신다. 세계를 창조하시고 만물을 붙드심으로 그분은 계속하여 남을 위하여 봉사하고 계신다. “하나님이 그 해를 악인과 선인에게 비취게 하시며 비를 의로운 자와 불의한 자에게 내리우심이니라”(마 5：45).

하나님께서는 이 봉사의 이상을 아들에게 맡기셨다. 예수께서는 당신의 모본을 통하여 봉사한다는 것이 무엇을 의미하는 것인지를 가르치기 위해 인간의 선두에 서도록 보내심을 받았다.

예수님의 전 생애는 봉사의 법칙 아래 있었다. 그분은 모든 사람을 섬기셨고 모든 사람을 위하여 봉사하셨다. 이리하여 그분은 하나님의 율법대로 사셨으며 당신의 모본을 통하여 우리가 어떻게 율법을 순종할 것인지를 보여 주셨다.

 

Jesus’s whole life was under a law of service

 

In His life and lessons, Christ has given a perfect exemplification of the unselfish ministry which has its origin in God.

God does not live for Himself. By creating the world, and by upholding all things, He is constantly ministering for others. ‘He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.’ Matthew 5:45.

This ideal of ministry God has committed to His Son. Jesus was given to stand at the head of humanity, that by His example He might teach what it means to minister.

His whole life was under a law of service. He served all, ministered to all. Thus He lived the law of God, and by His example showed how we are to obey it.”
