마음들이 하나님의 영에 의하여 고조됨을 감사함

 

우리는 마음들이 하나님의 영에 의해 고조되어

살아 있는 성경에서 그리스도를 보고 단지 말로만 아니라 실제로 그분을 세상에 대표함을 인해

하나님께 엄숙하고 깊은 감사를 드린다.

 

그들은, 그리스도를 따른다고 주장하는 모든 사람들이 그분의 발걸음을 따를 의무를 가지며,

그분의 영에 감화되어야 하며

그리하여 아버지를 대표하기 위해 이 세상에 오신 예수 그리스도를 세상에 제시하여야 한다는

성경의 요구를 본다.

 

그리스도를 대표함으로 우리는 세상에 하나님을 대표한다.

“누구든지 그리스도의 영이 없으면 그리스도의 사람이 아니라” (롬 8:9).

 

교회 안에서 그리고 세상 앞에 그리스도의 품성을 반사하고 있는지 스스로 질문해 보자.

성경을 연구함에 있어서 보다 깊은 연구가 크게 필요된다.

그리스도의 의를 율법 가운데 놓는 것은 하나님의 참된 품성을 명료하게 계시하며

율법이 그 진정한 속성에서 볼 때에 진정 공정하며 선하며 영광스럽다는 것을 보여준다.

 

Grateful That Minds Were Stirred by God’s Spirit

 

We felt deeply and solemnly grateful to God

that minds were being stirred by the Spirit of God

to see Christ in the living oracles and to represent Him to the world,

but not in words merely.

 

They see the Scripture requirements

that all who claim to be followers of Christ are under obligation

to walk in His footsteps, to be imbued with His Spirit,

and thus to present to the world Jesus Christ,

who came to our world to represent the Father.

 

In representing Christ we represent God to our world.

“If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his” (Romans 8:9).

 

Let us inquire, Are we reflecting in the church and before the world

the character of Jesus Christ?

A great deal deeper study is required of us in searching the Scriptures.

Placing the righteousness of Christ in the law distinctly reveals God in His true character and reveals the law as holy, just, and good, glorious indeed

when seen in its true character.
