감사함과 평화로 물들여진 품성

우리가 찾고 품고 길러야 할 모든 것 가운데서

순결한 마음, 감사함과 평화로 물들여진 품성만큼  하나님 보기에 귀중한 것은 아무 것도 없다.

 

기질은 부활로 말미암아 변화되지 않음

 

만일 그대들이 하늘에서 성도가 되고자 한다면 먼저 지상에서 성도가 되어야 한다.

 

그대들이 이생에서 소유하고 있는 품성의 특성들은

죽음이나 부활을 말미암아서도 변화되지 않을 것이다.

그대들은 그대들의 가정과 사회에서 나타내던 성벽(性癖)을 가지고 무덤에서 올라올 것이다.

 

 

A Disposition Imbued With Thankfulness and Peace

 

Of all things that are sought, cherished, and cultivated,

there is nothing so valuable in the sight of God

as a pure heart, a disposition imbued with thankfulness and peace.

 

Disposition Not Changed by Resurrection.

 

If you would be a saint in heaven, you must first be a saint on earth.

 

The traits of character you cherish in life will not be changed

by death or by the resurrection.

You will come up from the grave with the same disposition

you manifested in your home and in society.
