예수의 종교는 기쁨과 화평과 행복을 준다

 

 

하나님께서는 각 사람이 해야 할 일을 가지고 계신다.

 

사람들이 생애의 투쟁에서 인간의 동정과 칭찬으로 지원을 받는 것은 그분의 계획이 아니다.

 

그러나 하나님께서는,

그들이 영문 밖으로 나가서 비난을 견디고,

믿음의 선한 싸움을 싸우고,

어떤 어려움을 당하여도 당신의 능력으로 굳게 서기를 바라신다.

 

하나님께서는 귀중한 당신의 아들을 선물로 주심으로 하늘의 모든 보화를 열어 놓으셨으며,

그분의 아들은 자신의 완전한 품성을 통하여 이 세상 생애와 거룩한 하늘에 유용해지도록

우리를 완전히 향상시키고, 고상하게 하고, 적합하게 해주실 수 있다…

 

하나님께서는 그대들이 자아를 멸시하거나 낙담하는 중에 일하지 말고

가장 강한 믿음과 희망으로, 기쁨과 즐거움으로 그리스도를 세상에 나타내기를 바라신다.

예수님을 믿는 신앙은 기쁨과 화평과 행복을 준다.

 

우리가 성경을 연구하여 아버지께서 예수님을 세상에 허락해 주심으로

그분을 믿는 모든 사람이 구원을 받게 하신 그 무한한 은혜를 깨닫게 될 때,

우리는 우리에게 속한 모든 힘을 기울여 활동하게 되고,

사람들에게 말할 수 없는 사랑을 주신 그분께 찬송과 찬양과 영광을 돌리게 될 것이다.

 

The religion of Jesus is joy, peace, and happiness

 

God has a work for each to do.

It is no part of His plan that

souls shall be sustained in the battle of life by human sympathy and praise;

but He means that they shall go without the camp, bearing the reproach,

fighting the good fight of faith, and standing in His strength under every difficulty.

God has opened to us all the treasures of heaven through the precious gift of His Son, who is fully able to uplift, ennoble, and fit us, through His perfection of character,

for usefulness in this life and for a holy heaven…

 

God wants you to work, not with self-disparagement nor in discouragement,

but with the strongest faith and hope, with cheerfulness and joy,

representing Christ to the world.

 

The religion of Jesus is joy, peace, and happiness.

As we search the Scriptures,

and see the infinite condescension of the Father in giving Jesus to the world

that all who believe in Him may have everlasting life,

every power of our being should be called into activity,

to give praise and honor and glory to Him for His unspeakable love

to the children of men.
