누가복음 15:1~15:10 /277장 (통 335장)
| HEAVEN REJOICES! |
| There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents. -Luke 15:10 |
| Joann had been raised in a Christian home. But when she went to college, she began to question her beliefs and walked away from God. After graduation, she traveled to a number of countries, always looking for happiness but never feeling satisfied. While experiencing some difficulties, she recognized that God was pursuing her and that she needed Him. From Germany, Joann called her parents in the US and said, “I have given my life to Christ, and He’s changing me! I’m sorry for the worry I have caused you.” Her parents were so excited that they called her brothers and sisters-in-law to come over immediately. They wanted to tell them the exciting news in person. “Your sister has received Christ!” they said, rejoicing through tears. The woman in Luke 15 who found her lost coin called her friends and neighbors together to rejoice with her (v.9). Jesus told this story, and others about a lost sheep and a lost son, to the religious people of His day to show how He came to earth to pursue lost sinners. When we accept God’s gift of salvation, there is rejoicing both on earth and in heaven. Jesus said, “There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents” (v.10). How wonderful that Jesus has reached down to us and heaven rejoices when we respond! -Anne Cetas |

| 죄인 한 사람이 회개하면 하나님의 사자들 앞에 기쁨이 되느니라-누가복음 15:10 |
| 조앤은 기독교 가정에서 자랐습니다. 그러나 그녀가 대학에 갔을 때 믿음에 대한 회의가 들어 하나님을 멀리 했습니다. 대학 졸업 후에는 여러 나라들을 여행하며 계속 행복을 추구했지만 한 번도 만족감을 느끼지 못했습니다. 그러던 중 어떤 어려움을 겪게 되면서 그녀는 하나님께서 자신을 찾으시고 자신도 하나님이 필요함을 알게 되었습니다. 조앤은 독일에서 미국에 있는 그녀의 부모에게 전화를 걸어 “제 삶을 그리스도께 바쳤어요. 지금 주님이 저를 변화시키고 있어요! 그동안 속 썩여서 죄송해요.”라고 말했습니다. 그녀의 부모는 너무나 감격하여 아들들 내외에게 전화하여 즉시 오라고 했습니다. 그들은 이 감격적인 소식을 자식들에게 직접 대면하여 전해주고 싶었던 것입니다. “너희 누이가 그리스도를 영접했단다!”라고 기쁨의 눈물을 흘리며 말했습니다. 누가복음 15장에 나오는 여인도 잃었던 드라크마를 찾았을 때 친구와 이웃을 불러 같이 기쁨을 나누었습니다(9절). 예수님은 그 당시의 종교적인 사람들에게 이 이야기와 함께 잃은 양과 잃은 아들에 관한 다른 이야기도 들려주시면서, 잃어버린 죄인을 찾기 위해 주님이 이 세상에 오셨다고 말씀하셨습니다. 우리가 하나님이 주시는 구원의 선물을 받아들일 때 땅과 하늘에 기쁨이 있습니다. 예수님은 “죄인 한 사람이 회개하면 하나님의 사자들 앞에 기쁨이 되느니라”(10절)라고 말씀하셨습니다. 예수님이 우리를 위해 아래로 내려오시고, 우리가 그것에 반응할 때 하늘이 기뻐한다는 것이 얼마나 놀라운 일입니까! |
