🌻생명의 향기 | 극렬한 시험 하나하나는 연단시키는 하나님의 대리자🌻

세상은 죄를 사랑하고 의를 미워한다.

이것이 바로 세상이 예수님을 대적하는 원인이다.

그분의 무한한 사랑을 거절하는 모든 사람은

그리스도교 신앙을 방해가 되는 요소로 생각할 것이다.

그리스도의 빛은 그들의 죄를 가리고 있던 암흑을 쓸어버린다.

그리하여 개혁의 필요성이 분명하게 드러난다.

성령의 감화에 순종하는 자들은 자신과의 싸움을 시작하는 반면

죄에 집착하는 자들은 진리와 진리의 대표자들에 대항하여 싸운다.

이와 같이 분쟁이 일어나고,

그리스도를 따르는 자들은 백성들을 괴롭게 하는 자라는 비난을 받는다.

그러나 그들을 세상의 원수가 되게 하는 것은 하나님과의 사귐이다.

그들은 그리스도의 능욕을 진다.

그들은 세상에서 가장 고상한 자들이 걸어 온 길을 걷고 있다.

그들은 핍박을 슬픔으로 대할 것이 아니라 기쁨으로 대해야 한다.

극렬한 시험 하나하나는 그들을 연단시키는 하나님의 대리자이다.

그 시련 하나하나는

그들을 그분의 동역자로서 그들의 사업을 행하기에 적합한 사람으로 만들어 준다.

각 투쟁은 의를 위한 큰 전쟁에서 맡은 역할이 있으며,

매 시련은 그들의 마지막 승리의 기쁨을 더 크게 해 줄 것이다.

이러한 사실을 기억할 때

그들의 믿음과 인내를 시험하는 시련을 두려워하고 피할 것이 아니라

오히려 기쁘게 받아들이게 될 것이다.

그리고 하나님의 종들은 세상에 대한 그들의 의무를 수행하기를 열망하고

하나님의 인정하심만을 바라면서

사람을 두려워하거나 그들의 칭찬에 구애됨 없이 모든 의무를 수행해야 한다.

🌻Aroma of Life | Each Fiery Trial is God’s Agent for Refining🌻

The world loves sin, and hates righteousness, and this was the cause of its hostility to Jesus. All who refuse His infinite love will find Christianity a disturbing element.

The light of Christ sweeps away the darkness that covers their sins, and the need of reform is made manifest. While those who yield to the influence of the Holy Spirit begin war with themselves, those who cling to sin war against the truth and its representatives.

Thus strife is created, and Christ’s followers are accused as troublers of the people. But it is fellowship with God that brings them the world’s enmity. They are bearing the reproach of Christ. They are treading the path that has been trodden by the noblest of the earth.

Not with sorrow, but with rejoicing, should they meet persecution. Each fiery trial is God’s agent for their refining. Each is fitting them for their work as colaborers with Him.

Each conflict has its place in the great battle for righteousness, and each will add to the joy of their final triumph. Having this in view, the test of their faith and patience will be cheerfully accepted rather than dreaded and avoided.

Anxious to fulfill their obligation to the world, fixing their desire upon the approval of God, His servants are to fulfill every duty, irrespective of the fear or the favor of men.
