모든 과도한 염려를 물리쳐야 함

그분께서는 우리가 일하러 갈 때 보시며 우리가 기도할 때 들으신다. 

그분께서는 우리가 저녁에 잠자리에 누울 때나 아침에 일어날 때 우리를 보고 계신다. 

그분은 부자가 그의 저택에서 언제 연회를 베푸는지 아신다. 

그분은 가난한 사람이 자녀들을 식탁 주위에 모을 때 그것을 보고 계신다. 

하나님께서는 모든 눈물을 주시하시고 모든 미소를 보신다.

만일 우리가 하나님께서 관심을 갖고 계신다는 것을 믿는다면, 

우리는 불필요한 걱정을 하지 않게 될 것이다. 

우리의 생애는 지금처럼 슬픔으로 가득 차 있지 않을 것이다. 

왜냐하면 크건 작건, 모든 것들이 하나님의 손에 맡겨질 것이기 때문이다.

그분은 수많은 걱정거리들 때문에 당혹해 하시거나 그 중압감에 의해 압도당하는 분이 아니시다. 

그러므로 우리는 수많은 사람들이 그토록 오랫동안 누리지 못했던 마음의 안식을 누리게 된다.

온몸이 하늘의 치료제들에 대하여 열려 있음

그리스도는 생명의 샘이시다. 

많은 사람들이 필요로 하는 것은 그분에 대하여 더욱 분명한 지식을 소유하는 것이다. 

그들은 어떻게 하늘의 치유제들에 온 몸을 맡길 것인지

끈기 있게, 친절하게 그러면서도 진지하게 가르침을 받을 필요가 있다. 

하나님의 사랑의 햇빛이 어두운 영혼의 밀실을 비출 때, 

불안한 염려와 불만은 사라지고, 흡족한 기쁨이 정신에 활력을 주고, 육체에 건강과 힘을 줄 것이다.

All Undue Anxieties Dismissed

When men go forth to their daily toil, as when they engage in prayer; when they lie down at night, and when they rise in the morning; when the rich man feasts in his palace, or when the poor man gathers his children about the scanty board, each is tenderly watched by the heavenly Father. No tears are shed that God does not notice. There is no smile that He does not mark.

If we would but fully believe this, all undue anxieties would be dismissed. Our lives would not be so filled with disappointment as now; for everything, whether great or small, would be left in the hands of God, who is not perplexed by the multiplicity of cares or overwhelmed by their weight. We should then enjoy a rest of soul to which many have long been strangers.--SC 86 (1892).

Whole Being Open to Healing Agencies of Heaven.

Christ is the wellspring of life. That which many need is to have a clearer knowledge of Him; they need to be patiently and kindly, yet earnestly, taught how the whole being may be thrown open to the healing agencies of heaven. 

When the sunlight of God's love illuminates the darkened chambers of the soul, restless weariness and dissatisfaction will cease and satisfying joys will give vigor to the mind and health and energy to the body.-- MH 247 (1905).
