그리스도는 우리와 항상 함께 계심

"우리의 돌아보는 것은 보이는 것이 아니요 보이는 않는 것이니

보이는 것은 잠깐이요 보이지 않는 것은 영원함이니라" (고후 4:18)

그대가 홀로 있는 것처럼 보일지 모르지만 그대는 혼자가 아니다.

왜냐하면 그리스도께서 그대와 함께 계시기 때문이다...

바울은 얼마나 많은 시련과 고난을 견뎌야 했던가. 그러나 그는

"우리의 잠시 받는 환난의 경한 것이

지극히 크고 영원한 영광의 중한 것을 우리에게 이루게 함이니"라고 말한다.

난관에 봉착할 때 예수님이 그대 곁에 계신다는 것과

곤핍의 때에 아주 즉각적인 도움이 되신다는 것을 기억하라.

시련에 용감하게 대처하는 것은 그리스도인 싸움의 일부이며, 이 싸움에 온 하늘이 관심을 갖고 있다.

그리스도는 그대가 어떤 시험에 직면할지를 아신다.

그분은 사람이 진리를 받아들일 때 그가 져야 할 십자가가 있을 것을 아시며

그분은 언제고 필요한 도움을 주실 채비를 하고 계신다.

그대가 도움을 간구하는 기도를 드리는 바로 그 순간에

그대는 그대가 느끼기를 원하는 모든 기쁨과 복을 느끼지 못할 지도 모른다.
그러나 그리스도께서 그대의 간구를 들으시고 응답하실 것이라고 그대가 믿는다면

그리스도의 평화가 이르러 올 것이다.

Christ Is With Us Always

"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." (2 Corinthians 4:18).

Although it may seem that you are alone, yet you are not alone, for Christ is with you; you are in blessed company.

What trials and afflictions Paul endured, and yet he says, “Our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”...

When difficulties arise, as they will, remember that Jesus is by your side, a very present help in time of need. To meet trial bravely is part of the Christian warfare, and in this warfare all heaven is interested.

Christ knows what temptations you will meet. He knows that when one accepts the truth he or she will have a cross to lift, and He is ready to give the
needed help.

 At the moment when you are offering your prayer for help, you may not feel all the joy and blessing that you would like to feel; but if you believe that Christ will hear and answer your petition, the peace of Christ will come.
