진리를 탐구하는 자는 보상을 받는다

진리를 탐구하는 자는 이르는 곳마다 보상을 받는다. 

그리하여 하나의 새로운 것을 발견할 때마다 좀더 풍성한  연구 분야가 전개된다. 

사람들은 그들이 생각하고 바라보는 바에 따라 변화된다.  

평범한 사상과 사물이 그의 주의를 이끌게 되면 그 사람은 평범한 사람이 될 것이다. 

너무나 태만하여 하나님의 진리를 피상적으로 밖에 이해하 지 못하는 자는 

하나님께서 그에게 주시고자 하시는 풍성 한 축복을 받지 못할 것이다. 

마음이란 친밀히 접촉하는 사물의 크고 작음에 따라 넓어 지기도, 좁아지기도 하는 것이다.

두뇌의 힘은 그것을 진리 탐구에 끈기 있고 힘차게 활용 하지 않는 한, 

반드시 위축될 것이며 하나님의 말씀의  깊은 뜻을 파악하는 능력을 상실할 것이다. 

성경절과 성경절, 영적 사물과 영적 사물을 서로 비교하면서 

성경의 여러 문제들이 지닌 상호 관계를 찾아낸다면  우리의 정신은 신장될 것이다. 

표면을 뚫고 들어가라.  사고의 풍성한 보물들이 재간 있고 부지런한 연구자들을  기다리고 있다.

The Search for Truth Will Reward the Seeker

The search for truth will reward the seeker at every turn, and each discovery will open up richer fields for his investigation. 

Men are changed in accordance with what they contemplate. If commonplace thoughts and affairs take up the attention, the man will be commonplace. 

If he is too negligent to obtain anything but a superficial understanding of God’s truth, he will not receive the rich blessings that God would be pleased to bestow upon him. 

It is a law of the mind, that it will narrow or expand to the dimensions of the things with which it becomes familiar.

The mental powers will surely become contracted, and will lose their ability to grasp the deep meanings of the word of God, unless they are put vigorously and persistently to the task of searching for truth. 

The mind will enlarge, if it is employed in tracing out the relation of the subjects of the Bible, comparing scripture with scripture, and spiritual things with spiritual. 

Go below the surface; the richest treasures of thought are waiting for the skillful and diligent student.
