어떻게 그분을 세상에 제시할 자격을 갖추는가

우리는 제자들이 오순절 날에 성령의 강림을 위하여 기도했던 것처럼 열렬하게 기도해야 한다.

그 당시에 그들에게 그것이 필요했다면 우리는 오늘날 더욱 그것을 필요로 한다.

도덕적 흑암은 죽음의 휘장처럼 지상을 덮고 있다.

온갖 거짓 교리와 이단설과 사악한 기만들이 사람들의 마음을 오도하고 있다.

하나님의 영과 능력이 없으면 우리가 진리를 제시하기 위하여 노력하는 것이 헛된 일이 될 것이다.

그리스도를 명상하고, 그분을 믿는 믿음을 발휘하고, 그분의 구원의 은혜를 우리 스스로 체험함으로

우리는 그분을 세상에 제시할 자격을 갖추게 된다.

우리가 예수님에게서 배웠을 것 같으면 그분이 우리의 주제가 될 것이다.

우리의 마음의 제단 위에서 불타고 있는 그분의 사랑이 사람들의 마음에 닿게 될 것이다.

진리는 냉랭하고 생기 없는 이론으로서가 아니라 성령의 나타남으로 제시될 것이다.

How We Are Qualified To Present Him To the World

We should pray as earnestly for the descent of the Holy Spirit as the disciples prayed on the day of Pentecost. If they needed it at that time, we need it more today.

Moral darkness, like a funeral pall, covers the earth. All manner of false doctrines, heresies, and satanic deceptions are misleading the minds of men.

Without the Spirit and power of God it will be in vain that we labor to present the truth.

 It is by contemplating Christ, by exercising faith in Him, by experiencing for ourselves His saving grace, that we are qualified to present Him to the world.
If we have learned of Him, Jesus will be our theme; His love, burning upon the altar of our hearts, will reach the hearts of the people.

The truth will be presented, not as a cold, lifeless theory, but in the demonstration of the Spirit.
