하나님의 말씀에 끊임없이 접촉함

만일 우리가 진실한 그리스도인 생애를 살고자 한다면,

하나님의 말씀에 끊임없이 접촉함으로 양심이 되살아나야 한다.

하나님이 무한한 값으로 우리에게 제공해 주신 귀중한 모든 것들을 우리가 활용하지 않으면

그것들이 우리에게 아무런 유익이 되지 못할 것이며,

우리를 강하게 하고 영적 성장을 이루게 할 수도 없다.

우리는 하나님의 말씀을 먹고 그것을 우리 자신의 한 부분으로 삼아야 한다.

Constant Contact with the Word of God

If we would live a true Christian life,

the conscience must be quickened by constant contact with the word of God.

All the precious things which at infinite cost God has provided for us will do us no good;

they cannot strengthen us and produce spiritual growth unless we appropriate them.

We must eat the word of God—make it a part of ourselves.
