우리는 개인적으로 하나님의 음성을 들어야 한다

 

 

하나님의 훈련을 받는 모든 사람에게서는

 

세상의 습관이나 행습에 일치하지 아니하는 생애가 나타나야 한다.

 

그리하여 하나님의 뜻에 관한 지식을 얻는 중에 각 사람은 개인적인 경험을 얻어야 한다.

 

 

 

우리는 각기 개인적으로 하나님께서 마음에 말씀하시는 소리를 들어야 한다.

 

모든 다른 소리가 침묵되고 우리가 조용한 가운데 그분 앞에서 기다릴 때

 

영혼의 침묵이 하나님의 음성을 더욱 분명히 들리게 한다.

 

 

 

하나님께서는 우리에게 “너희는 가만히 있어 내가 하나님 됨을 알지어다”(시 46:10)라고 명하신다.

 

여기에서만 참된 쉼을 찾을 수 있다.

 

그리고 이것이 하나님을 위하여 수고하는 모든 사람을 위한 효과적인 준비이다.

 

 

 

분주하게 움직이는 군중과 인생의 격렬한 활동으로 인한 긴장 속에서

 

이와 같이 소생함을 받은 영혼은 빛과 화평의 분위기로 둘리울 것이다.

 

그 생애는 향기를 내뿜을 것이며 사람의 심령을 감동시킬 하늘의 능력을 나타낼 것이다.

We Must Individually Hear the Voice of God

In all who are under the training of God is to be revealed a life that is not in harmony with the world, its customs, or its practices; and everyone needs to have a personal experience in obtaining a knowledge of the will of God. We must individually hear Him speaking to the heart. When every other voice is hushed, and in quietness we wait before Him, the silence of the soul makes more distinct the voice of God. He bids us, “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10).

Here alone can true rest be found. And this is the effectual preparation for all who labor for God.

Amid the hurrying throng, and the strain of life’s intense activities, the soul that is thus refreshed will be surrounded with an atmosphere of light and peace. The life will breathe out fragrance, and will reveal a divine power that will reach men’s hearts.
