Love Lives on Action

 

사랑은 행동으로 존재함

 

 

Love cannot live without action, and every act increases, strengthens, and extends it. 

 

사랑은 행동이 없이는 존재할 수 없으며, 모든 행동은 사랑을 증가시키며 강화하고 확장한다. 

 

Love will gain the victory when argument and authority are powerless. 

 

논쟁과 권위가 무력할 때에, 사랑은 승리를 얻게 될 것이다. 

 

 

Love works not for profit nor reward;

 

yet God has ordained that great gain shall be the certain result of every labor of love. 

 

 

 

사랑은 이익이나 보상을 위하여 일하지 않으나,

 

 

하나님께서는 모든 사랑의 활동마다 그 확실한 결과로서 큰 유익이 따르도록 정하셨다. 

 

 

It is diffusive in its nature and quiet in its operation,

 

 

yet strong and mighty in its purpose to overcome great evils. 

 

 

사랑은 그 본질에 있어서 파급적이며 그 활동에 있어서 조용하나,

 

큰 악을 정복하는 데에 있어서는 강하고 힘차다. 

 

It is melting and transforming in its influence and will take hold of the lives of the sinful

 

and affect their hearts when every other means has proved unsuccessful.

 

사랑의 영향력은 녹이고 변화시킨다. 그것은 사악한 자들의 생애를 사로잡을 것이며,

 

다른 모든 방법이 실패할지라도 그들의 마음을 감화시키는 일을 할 것이다.
