하나님께 점검받으라
아침마다 그대 자신과 그대의 자녀들을 그 한 날을 위해 하나님께 바치라.
여러 달이나 여러 해를 계산하지 말라.
그 날들은 그대들의 것이 아니다.
단 하루만이 그대들에게 주어져 있다.
마치 그날이 지상에서의 마지막인 것처럼 그 시간 동안에 주님을 위하여 일하라.
그대들의 모든 계획을 하나님 앞에 놓고
그분의 섭리가 지시하는 데로 수행하기도 하고 그만두기도 하라.
그대들 자신의 계획 대신에 그분의 계획들을 받아들이되,
그것들의 수락은 이미 간직한 계획의 포기를 요구할지라도 그렇게 하라.
그리하면 생애가 거룩한 모본을 따라 차츰 꼴 지어지고,
“모든 지각에 뛰어난 하나님의 평강이
그리스도 예수 안에서 너희 마음과 생각을 지키” (빌 4:7) 실 것이다.
Get Checked by God
Each morning consecrate yourselves and your children to God for that day.
Make no calculation for months or years; these are not yours.
One brief day is given you.
As if it were your last on earth, work during its hours for the Master.
Lay all your plans before God, to be carried out or given up,
as His providence shall indicate.
Accept His plans instead of your own,
even though their acceptance requires the abandonment of cherished projects.
Thus the life will be molded more and more after the divine example;
“and the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7.
